Provides educational expertise to systematically assess, design, develop, implement, deliver, and evaluate training initiatives for the South Central AIDS Education and Training Center (SCAETC) Project. Serves as an e-Learning Instructional Designer to advance the SCAETC mission, goals and objectives.


-Must have a Bachelor¿s degree in a related field.

-Must have six years of experience creating interactive e-Learning.
-Prefer two years of experience creating instructor led training.
-Prefer experience with Epic¿s suite of healthcare applications.

Equivalent Education and/or Experience:
-May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements.


Skills or Special Abilities:
-Must demonstrate excellent training and productivity skills with an emphasis on adult learning concepts including relevant technologies, methods and tools.
-Must be analytical, organized and creative and able to effectively deliver presentations and training programs.
-Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels.
-Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of computing skills to include Adobe Captivate, Microsoft© Office Suite, learning management systems, online course creation, and project management applications.
-Must demonstrate adaptability to changing situations or priorities.
-Must demonstrate, through work experience, successful creation of effective e-Learning for adults.
-Must be able to demonstrate good decision making skills.
-Must be aware of legal, agency and regulatory requirements regarding the use of e-Learning in a public hospital setting.
-Prefer proficiency in Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator, and telehealth and other web ¿based learning software/systems.
-Utilizes creativity and innovation in attaining desired outcomes.
-Uses a holistic approach and persists when solving problems.
-Works in a highly organized manner, capturing and attending to details as well as the bigger picture.
-Acts with a sense of urgency.
-Synthesizes information and shares it with a larger group
