About the Position:
The Program Manager in Partnerships and Joint Ventures is responsible for developing strategies for residential and commercial customers to address existing gaps in the Energy Efficiency, Alternative Fuel Vehicles, grid modernization and Distributed Generation programs through partnerships and alliances. Additionally this position will be responsible for managing existing partnerships as well as developing new customer solutions in partnerships with market participants.
Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Analyze the needs of Customers and Business Partners to develop strategies and actions plans which support operational delivery and achievement of annual goals or revenue targets through partnerships and alliances.
Manage targeted strategies and metrics related to ongoing and new alliances, vendor relationships and industry partnerships in order to support the delivery of solutions to our customers.
Develop new and innovative business models in order to generate new revenues to the company and provide integrated solutions to customers.
Working with Global Procurement to negotiate and agree terms and contracts with selected vendors and Alliance partners.
Overseeing day to day operational activities (related to residential partnerships), such as reviewing metrics, establishing commercial terms, and reviewing customer and market satisfaction, in order to achieve high productivity.
Monitor the resolution of operational and contractual issues in order to ensure projects and contracts are delivered according to plans and within applicable funding limits.
Promote procedural best practice in order to ensure all working practices are compliant with NG policies and regulatory requirements.
Working with appropriate functions and business units to integrate initiatives and translate objectives into well-defined requirements with clearly defined business cases in order to ensure cohesiveness and support change/innovation.
Knowledge & Experience Required:
Bachelor degree in business, or engineering, MBA preferred.
Minimum five years of work experience in alliance development, alliance management, energy efficiency, sustainability or procurement
Experience developing innovative ways to promote participation in programs (utility or telecom programs preferred) with alliance partners.
Experience in developing and maintaining strategic alliances and partnerships with external vendors or industry players to deliver customer solutions. Excellent presentation skills
Ability to clearly communicate with people or entities affected by a decision/change in process to know what’s happening and what the anticipated benefits are.
Ability to develop new innovative business model.
Analytical skills (Advance Excel skills are a plus)
Understanding of theory behind policies and processes and demonstrates the ability to challenge existing processes and ways of working e.g. taking action to avoid future crisis or create opportunities to improve existing practices.
