PRIMARY PURPOSE The Talent Management Business Partner (TM BP) will consult with various Parkland business units and serve as the primary point of Human Resources contact for hospital leadership. The TMP BP will be responsible for leading the execution and as needed design for client centric performance, talent management and leadership development solutions as part of an integrated, enterprise-wide Talent Management organization. The TM BP will serve as a collaborative conduit back to the deep subject matter experts (centers of excellence) in other areas of the Office of Talent Management (OTM). The TM BP will also work closely with other areas of OTM to resolve transactional HR service issues. MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS Education: - Must have a Bachelor¿s degree in Business Administration or a related field. - Prefer a Master¿s degree in Organizational Psychology, Industrial & Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: - Must have seven years of Human Resources and management experience. - Must have a strong talent management and leadership development background, including employee and leadership development, learning and training, HRIS and talent acquisition. - Internal/external experience with a top tier consultancy or Fortune 200 organization preferred. - Experience in both for-profit and non-profit industries preferred. - Experience with change management and a highly regulated industry preferred. - Experience within a health care environment preferred. Equivalent Education and/or Experience: - None. Certification/Registration/Licensure: - Prefer certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) - OR - - Certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) - OR - - Certification as a Society for Human Resource Management - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) - OR - - Certification as a Society for Human Resource Management - Senior Certified professional (SHRM-SCP) - OR - - Human Capital Institute Human Capital Strategist (HCS) Certification preferred. Skills or Special Abilities: - Must have ability to display and grow broad expertise across a range of disciplines including tactical HR services, consulting, organizational effectiveness, performance enablement, leader development, talent management strategy, succession planning, learning and training, diversity and inclusion, and patient experience. - Must have strong leadership skills, with the ability to unify and drive collaboration throughout the Office of Talent Management as well as across functional groups beyond Human Resources. - Essential to possess the ability to learn an organization¿s business from strategy to front line operations. - Adapt: Adjusts to rapidly changing priorities, conditions, and resources. - Advocate: Maintains an effective, dynamic balance between divergent employee/leader and organizational needs and interests - Collaborate: works effectively with peers, senior leaders, frontline employees, contractors, and stakeholders in a repeatable manner - Communicate: Delivers and receives important information via written, verbal, and nonverbal channels in a timely, accurate, and motivational manner. - Consult: Actively listens to customers, diagnoses honestly, and implements solutions with feedback - Critically Think: Conceptualizes, applies, analyzes, and synthesizes HR and general management knowledge and expertise to reach effective decisions in a complex, time-pressured environment. - Diagnose: Gathers data from multiple sources and historic records in order to identify the root cause of customer talent management issues in a timely fashion. - Facilitate: Possess top level facilitation skills that enable data collection and problem resolution - Initiate: Proactively and effectively implements action toward an organizational goal. - Inform: Provides expert information, interpretation and application of the wide scope of HR Theory, research, and practice. - Lead: Credibly influences and guides the behavior of Parkland leaders to apply and comply with sound talent management practices in accordance with our OTM Policies. - Manage Solutions: Follows diagnosis with effective, sustainable, comprehensive recommendations for action that are in accordance with Parkland¿s strategic goals and have measurable impact. - Present: Researches, prepares, and delivers business and educational programs of information in a manner which improves individual and organizational performance. - Propose Solutions: Captures the key points of a proposed solution and can persuade an audience of senior leaders of the merits of the solution, metrics, and importance of sustainability. - Serve Customers: Proactively ensure talent management service delivery with a positive attitude, knowledge, technical support, and with high quality on a deadline. - Utilize technology: Effectively applies and navigates assigned applications/software, including the MS Office Suite, PeopleSoft, and other Talent Management Systems.
