The Ground Station, Tactical Intelligence (TGS) Field Service Analyst (FSA) serves as a member of a globally distributed team that fields, trains, repairs, integrates, and maintains the TGS. TGS (formerly DE-CGS) is one of the systems in the family of DCGS-A programs. TGS FSRs are required to develop, program, install, configure, integrate, analyze and maintain UNIX based workstations and servers of the TGS. TGS includes Surveillance Control Data Link (SCDL) Antenna, Joint Tactical Terminal (JTT), and Ground Data Terminal (GDT) & End COMSEC Unit (ECU) interfacing with the DCGS-A, Trojan Spirit, Prophet and Guardrail weapon systems. CGS users are inclusive of Echelon Above Corps, MI BN at Corps Level, Headquarters and Corps Artillery. TGS is a Mobile, multi-sensor IMINT tactical data processing/evaluation center. TGS provides surveillance and target acquisition data to War fighter world-wide in real time. TGS processes Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS), Commander?s Tactical Terminal (CTT), JTT, and Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) data. Disseminates intelligence, battle management, targeting data to Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence (C3I) nodes via Local Area Network (LAN), wire, or radio. Enables integrated battle management, surveillance, targeting, interdiction plans to be developed/executed using near-real-time data.
? The TGS FSA will be the primary interface between the Ft Huachuca Intelligence Center. The FSA will be able to communicate verbally and in writing the technical aspects of the TGS mission requirements and support status. The Analyst will identify server and client hardware and software faults, create solutions, and then test solutions in often demanding field environments with little or no remote support. The FSA will interact with a wide variety of systems implementations on a single customer site, including Virtualized Machines (VMs) running on a variety of different hardware platforms.
? Provides senior level technical support for customer/company network systems.
? Performs complex systems installations and maintenance, tests, repairs and troubleshoots network equipment problems.
? Performs work, which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of standard materials, and difficult coordination requirements.
Must be capable of constructing breadboard interface circuitry (digital, analog, and hybrid circuits), special cabling, etc. in support of system test bed/development facilities and for special system/software test fixtures. Must possess sufficient technical electronics knowledge and experience to perform above construction from preliminary sketches/design information furnished by project engineer. Digital/hybrid/analog electronics technician is required. Military experience is highly desirable.
? Extensive software, hardware, and network troubleshooting experience.
? Must be able to install, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux-based operating systems and software on client and server machines.
? Candidate will have project engineering experience and familiarity with remote system administration software, networking principles.
? Must have exceptional oral and written communications skills and ability to work independently, with minimum direction.
? Creative problem solver able to quickly devise, test, and implement solutions
? Self-motivated and results-focused mindset is a must.
? Required IA Level II certification including SEC+ and a Computing Environment Certification.
? All applicants must possess a current Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
? Working knowledge of client and server software interaction including web-based application design, support, and integration, JAVA script creation, Oracle Databases, virtual operating systems, and creating and maintaining and intelligence software applications.
? Experience with administration in WAN or LAN, Linux, Windows Server 2003, VMWare, IIS, and LDAP
? Experience with tactical systems and a network environment is preferred.
? Experience in the DOD intelligence environment or equivalent government agencies, with field level experience preferred.
