Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

- Security Standards: Develop and implement country-specific security standards and policies in alignment with regional and global security frameworks.

- Incident Management: Manage, review, and investigate security-related incidents, reporting key metrics, trends, and root causes to senior management.

- Training & Audits: Roll out risk assessments, security audits, and training programs across the country to ensure compliance and awareness.

- Cost Management: Oversee security budgets and Profit and Loss statements, ensuring cost transparency and efficiency.

- Customer Value: Enhance customer satisfaction by optimizing security performance and positioning security as a competitive advantage.

Key Accountabilities:

- Achieve DPDHL security standards through effective cooperation with country management.

- Reduce losses, security incidents, and related claims within your area of responsibility.

- Identify and mitigate security risks, reporting progress on corrective actions.

- Ensure cost efficiency and optimal use of resources.

- Secure positive customer feedback by delivering high standards of security service.

Stakeholder Management:

- Manage customer complaints related to security incidents and provide expert advice to both internal and external stakeholders.

- Build and maintain relationships with law enforcement, regulatory bodies, site management, and the sales organization to ensure robust security support.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and develop a team of security professionals, ensuring they understand and adhere to security policies and procedures.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within your team.

Requirements

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in security management, with at least 1-2 years specifically within the logistics or supply chain industry.

- Ideally 2 years of experience or in-depth knowledge of security practices and regulations within Vietnam.

- Bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice, or a related field is preferred.

- Professional certification from recognized security bodies (e.g., Certified Protection Officer (CPO), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or equivalent) is highly desirable.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting, data analysis, and presentations.

- Familiarity with security technologies and systems, such as surveillance, access control, and incident management tools.

- Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
