The Financial Analyst position will report into the Business Management & Financial Report Senior Supervisor. The ideal candidate will embrace the opportunity to diversify their skillset through new challenges while balancing recurring deliverables. This platform requires optimal interpersonal and leadership skills as the candidate will work closely with senior leaders across Popular Bank.

In this position, you will:

• Generate & maintain recurring business management reporting in a timely manner to help the business better understand and manage its costs, risks, capital usage, pricing, growth opportunities, etc.
• Prepare & develop monthly in-depth business reviews in partnership with manager and regional analysts as required
• Analyze and report on client, segment, region, and product profitability
• Lead the effort to consolidate forecast/budget data by building effective partnerships with various departments and processing the necessary data
• Assist in preparing and maintaining of incentive monthly scorecard reporting for Commercial Lending and prepare any analytical reporting requested from participants of the plan
• Maintain and proactively drive improvement in existing financial planning models and processes
  

To be considered, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3-5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst
• Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
• Adept presentation skills with an ability to target messaging to different audiences
• Exceptional organizational skills and an ability to handle multiple tasks to meet extremely tight deadlines
• Able to articulate complex issues and themes to stakeholders
• Ability to connect the dots and make sense of information across multiple data points upstream/downstream that many not be easily noticeable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail
• Confidence to interact directly with Senior Management Team members
  

Salary Range Information

Our base salary for this position located in New York City generally ranges between $85,000.00 and $100,000.00? annually, depending on business need and on your qualifications and experience. Base salary does not include incentive compensation, commission, or any other type of remuneration or benefits. Base salary may vary if position is based in other geographic locations.
