YOUR TASKS

Reporting to Finance Controlling Manager, you will be responsible to:

  • Perform a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the company's financial resources and ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations, laws and reporting requirements.
  • Evaluate the efficacy of risk management procedures that are currently in place and provide recommendations on how to improve internal controls and governance processes.
  • Ensure Internal Audit Finding’s coming down every year or no surprises

Main Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile accounts, post journal entries, and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules so that the company has a full and accurate statement of its financial position.
  • Review daily accounting work prepared by shared service center, including accruals, sales and expenses booking as well as various reconciliations and schedules.
  • Provide advisory service to shared service center when necessary.
  • Perform and monitor month-end closing activities.
  • Handle Annual Operating Plan (AOP)/Budgeting.
  • Monitoring Fixed assets and CAPEX review.
  • Prepare functional review so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making financial decisions
  • Assist in process improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Annually review local policy/procedure.
  • Perform internal audit and analysis on need basis e.g., FOC compliance usage review, employee discount report, MEVA, etc.
  • Ensure internal control procedures are in place and in accordance with internal control framework including CRISP.
  • Liaise with external auditors on financial reporting issues and internal auditors from regional / global office.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree, in Accounting / Finance.
  • Professional accountancy qualification (having CPA or equivalent is advantage).
  • 5 years’ relevant experience in accounting and auditing, preferably in logistics / transportation industry or multinational companies
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
