Position Description
CGI Federal is seeking a project manager to support a customer that is tasked with supporting the joint warfighter across the full spectrum of military operations. Your future duties and responsibilities
The Project Manager will serve as the technical support lead. The PM will be tasked with coordinating the resolution of production related problems. Ensuring proper relationships are established & maintained between customers, teaming partners, and vendors to facilitate the delivery of information technology services. Also responsible for contractor support execution. Applies technical disciplines required to support planning, organizing, and leading team efforts in managing efforts such that the result places capable and supportable systems in the hands of the warfighter when and where needed. Providing a Technical Plan that addresses and/or contains contractor baseline estimates, support studies, workshop plans and agendas, Application Integration Plan, Risk tracking, technical performance metrics, baseline status reporting, Capability Development Document (CDD), Concept of Operations (CONOP), and Capability Production Document (CPD), as required. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
General: Shall have demonstrated technical and managerial leadership in the scope and depth of tasks described in the Statement of Work. Shall have ten (10) years? technical experience directly related to software/system development of which seven (7) related to the implementation and maintenance of management information systems and or software intensive systems.
Specific: Shall have, within the general experience requirement, five (5) years specialized experience that includes: system development from with emphasis on the functions they are qualifying as a SME.
Note: The PM must have a Bachelor?s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related quantitative field. Prefer to have a Master?s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics.
