Knowledge Management Specialist

Position Description
CGI Federal is seeking a Knowledge Management Specialist to work with our customer that is tasked with supporting the joint warfighter across the full spectrum of military operations. Your future duties and responsibilities
The Knowledge Management Specialist will Assist in the design, development, and implementation of Knowledge Management (KM) strategies. Apply expertise in KM tools and deploy information management and content management strategies and experience. Comprehend and recognize key barriers to KM behavioral change and develop effective change management programs. Analyze business processes, interview stakeholders, and evaluate strategic and IT plans to develop KM programs. Develop KM governance structures and processes for implementing KM programs and systems and provide consulting thought leadership on current best practices in KM, portal design, and intellectual capital and content management. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
General Experience: Shall have demonstrated program support experience and expertise in the scope and depth of tasks described in the Statement of Work. Shall have ten (10) years? experience directly related to Knowledge Management (KM) and Integrated Master Scheduled (IMS) development functions of which seven (7) are related to programs supporting the implementation and maintenance of management information systems and or software intensive systems.
Specific Experience: Shall have, within the general experience requirement, three (5) years specialized KM and IMS experience that includes: support for project development efforts from inception to deployment, demonstrated ability to support multi-task information systems development projects, and experience working within a PMO/CDA/IPT.
