General Responsibilities:

The Air Traffic Control (ATC) Systems Division, Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Department (NAWCAD) Patuxent River Code 4.11.2, located at St. Inigoes, MD is the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) and Software Support Activity (SSA) for ATC and landing systems. The ATC Division procides engineering support to developmental programs such as JPALS, N-UCAS, and UCLASS. The ATC division is also performing upgrades to its legacy equipment in order to maintain operability through 2040.
Generate a RHEL 6.6 program to utilize the Primagraphics software scan conversion library
Modify Osiris software to provide digitized radar samples of the network to support software scan conversion
NFS and SVN Server backups
Assist software team members with technical issues regarding the non-gig software lab network and virtual machine programming environments.
Travel on the project is light and may include 0-3 trips yearly to support testing or fleet issues in Wallops Island, VA, Lakehurst, NJ, and/or Norfolk, VA. Trips range anywhere from 1-5 days.

Mandatory Skills:

SVN (Subversion), specifically CollabNet and CollabNet Edge
Admin/User of RedHat Linux (5, 6, 7) Server Workstation environments
QMake Build System (Linux)
Networking in a hybrid Linux/MS Windows environment

Preferred Skills:

Secret Clearance Preferred
CAC Card Preferred
IMake build system (Linux)
Bash Scripting
QtCreator 5+ (Linux)
Embedded Hardware+. (Computer, PC and other Proprietary systems with single board computers and attached peripheral hardware)
Software Installation support on Linux and MS Windows of both proprietary, Open Source, and commercial products.
Familiarity with a virtual machine infrastructure (Oracle Virtual Box specifically, familiarity with VMWare or others will be helpful)
Familiarity of Eclipse project for some C/C++ programming (RHEL 5) and management of Source Code Baseline/Working with programming assignments
