ManTech International Corporation is looking to hire experienced personnel to support our U.S. Government Agency customer in multiple locations CONUS or OCONUS. This position will require the chosen candidate to currently possess an active DOD ? Top Secret Security Clearance.
LOCATION : Varied CONUS and OCONUS locations.
The qualified candidate will look to work closely within a team environment. They must be able to demonstrate the ability to articulate well, be extremely tactful and reserved when in communication with all levels of leadership and will be assigned multiple complex projects that will directly impact their program by managing projects from start to finish.
MUST HAVE an active DOD ? Top Secret Security Clearance for customer consideration.
MUST obtain a pre-deployment DoS Medical Clearance upon hire.
The Configuration Manager is responsible for specifying, developing and maintaining the change management process and capability for the PTL Program. This is a combined hands-on and SME role and requires the management and prioritizing of configuration management activities in support of the program?s needs. The position reports to the PTL Deputy Program Manager directly. This role is based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Primary responsibilities:
? Manage the data dissemination and tracker configuration support for the PTL program at-large, to include planning for future PTL system/hardware requirements in order to ensure consistent operation and availability.
? May be required to test PC monitoring stations and be able to fully maintain, troubleshoot and
install these systems domestically before deployment to a tactical environment.
? Configuration Management technical focus with an in-depth knowledge of processes and dissemination requirements of the PTL program.
? Shape and lead Configuration Management solutions as required in support of current and future requirements of the program.
? Responsible for the execution of engineering change process in line with Government requirements, policies, and best practices.
? Focal for the day-to-day tactical delivery of data service to PTL trackers.
Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance with immediate eligibility to be granted access to sensitive compartmented information. Bachelor?s Degree plus eight years of experience preferred; High School Diploma plus fifteen years of experience can substitute for a Bachelor?s Degree. Technical expertise in computer systems architecture, COMSEC, inventory, tactical tracking operations, RF network engineering, Integrated Broadcast System applications, Mission Management Center operations and a deep understanding of Department of State culture desirable. Minimum 5 years professional work experience in a military or government environment is highly desirable. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate and coordinate actions effectively with individuals at all organizational and management levels, including agencies outside of the Department. Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast paced environment, and have strong attention to detail. Must possess excellent writing and verbal skills. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build/maintain professional working relationships. Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows operating systems and office automation software (e.g., Microsoft Office, SharePoint.)
