ManTech is looking for a Certified Medium and Heavy Tactical Vehicle Mechanics to support a Marine Corps Program at various locations.
*Requires a current DoD clearance*
Responsibilities:
? Mechanics shall integrate with and assist the onsite Maintenance Officer or other designated Government/Military Official to perform operator (crew) maintenance.
? Shall provide field and sustainment level maintenance to include diagnostics and repair of the vehicles.
? The Mechanic must have proven maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and technical experience and a background in industrial manufacturing, commercial maintenance or military operations or maintenance, and be able to use common tools. (For this contract, the definition of maintenance is operations, system troubleshooting, installation, analysis, maintenance, software, and repair of systems and subsystems to component level.)
? Duties, tasks, and responsibilities of the Mechanics include but are not limited to providing assistance in failure diagnosis, incorporating Government approved engineering changes on the FoVs, providing maintenance, supply, warranty, and quality deficiency information to the Program Manager for reporting, and assisting unit personnel in operator and maintenance procedures at field sites.
Mandatory Skills and Required Experience:
? Certifications: Formal training/instructor experience as a Mechanic on Military Medium and Heavy Tactical Vehicles required.
Preferred Skills:
? Preferred: Knowledge of DoD/USMC Maintanance, Logistics, Policies, Processes, Documentation and systems..
