Position Description

Provides instruction on Airborne Mission Sensor Operator (MSO) duties regarding routine and dynamic area assessments using ELINT/ E/O IR, and/or other airborne sensors and communications equipment. Training will include planning considerations, and operational employment in the following mediums: classroom, training devices, flight line static aircraft, and in flight for the PC-12. Administers exams and performs check-rides of trainees. Works in close coordination with the instructor pilots during all phases of flight training to synchronize training evolutions. Performs secondary duties directly related to student training as determined by the Program Manager. Must have a current FAA Class 2 medical certificate with active or ability to obtain a Security Clearance. Successful applicant will be able to pass medical screening and deployment training at US Army CONUS Replacement Center.


Develop and teach Mission Sensor Operator training courses in accordance with provided training support packages.

Maintain curriculums in accordance with U.S. Government provided supporting packages, OEM technical manuals and industry standards.

Develop technical training aids, presentations and material.

Ensure training courses are technical accurate, up-to-date, and clearly relevant to the Student?s functional requirements.

Recommend changes to existing training materials.

Maintain training records for new hire and current aircrew personnel.

Comply with all specified policies, practices, and procedures.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of work experience. Years of relevant experience may be used in lieu of education requirement.

Five (5) plus Years of ISR experience in a tactical environment.

Air-to-Air and Air-to-Ground communication coordinator experience desired.

Military platform instruction experience.

Prior experience developing military instructional material consisting of basic, advanced tasks and end of stage evaluations highly preferred.

Prior experience conducting cross-cultural communications and delivering training/instructions with the use of an interpreter is preferred.

Working knowledge (knowledge adequate for practical use) of Microsoft Suite Applications, i.e., Power Point, Word, Excel.

Must possess exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Must be able to pass civil criminal and background checks.

Must be able to obtain a US passport, and meet physical standards for deployment to OCONUS locations.

Physical Requirements:

Effort is performed in an austere work environment.

Must be able to lift over 35 lbs.

Work in extreme weather conditions for an extended period.
