GENERAL SUMMARY: The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for recording payments to customers? accounts and maintaining accounts receivable records by performing the following duties. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY: Provides A/R support to the ABD business by working closely with the Accounting Center Controller. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ? Sets up new customer accounts by entering customer information into system. ? Prepares daily cash deposits. ? Daily billing of Net 30 accounts. ? Enters cash receipts and maintains accounts receivable ledger by customer. ? Obtains and mails invoice copies for customers daily & as requested. ? Processes daily credit card deposits. ? Files check stubs and bank receipts. ? Researches and processes customer claims of invoice payment. ? Researches and processes charge backs. ? Answers accounts receivable phone inquiries and follows up. ? Calls and/or mails correspondence to customers as necessary in order to update accounts. ? Coordinates with customers to complete special billing requirements. ? Communicates status of account problems on a monthly basis. ? Monitors payment of delinquent accounts; proactively communicates with manager or lead to request payment and resolve disputed invoices. ? Under direction from Credit & Collections Manager, collection of non-billing accounts. ? Submits customer information for preliminary lien notices. ? Responds to customer requests for certificates of insurance and company information. ? Reconciles accounts based on customer disputes. ? Communicates status of aging reports on special billing. ? Approve special billing at request of builder. ? Daily matching of pre-paid accounts ? funds with invoice. ? Daily run of asset research report to file pre-liens on builders. ?
