Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Senior Personnel Security Officer to join our team in the Hanover, MD area to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

? Process personnel security background investigation information for completeness and accuracy.
? Work in a variety of functional areas including Administration, Scoping, Local Agency Checks (LAC), Assignments, Review, and Quality Assurance.
? Reviews personal documents, Personnel Security Questionnaires (SF86), and other records to ensure they are accurate, complete, and in compliance with client?s guidelines.
? Contact Certifiers as needed to obtain additional information.
? Use knowledge of government manuals to ensure compliance.
? Determine type and scope of investigations.
? Enter appropriate data into Access or other database.
? Assigns, coordinates, organizes and/or facilitates follow-up with investigators to ensure accuracy and integrity of investigation.
? Conduct quality assurance reviews by soliciting feedback from individuals interviewed during the background investigation.
? Assisting callers with questions or complaints about the investigation or the unprofessional behavior of an investigator or an employee.
? Review and evaluate investigator reports to ensure they are complete, accurate and timely.
? Prepares final Reports of Investigation (ROI) for various clients.
? Reviews and executes actions necessary to complete cases.
? May perform duties on multiple contracts.

Position Requirements:

? Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5-7 years of security related experience
? Must have working knowledge of the NISPOM and ICD/DCIDs.
? Demonstrated knowledge as a CSSO.
? DSS FSO Certification of non-possessing or possessing training.
? Knowledge with SIMS or another comparable security clearance database and document control experience.
? Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong organizational and time management abilities.
? Personnel Security clearance processing skills preferably with MPO Customer
? Ability to handle stress and work well under pressure

? Ability to use PC and use MS Office products
? Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills

? Oral and Written Communication Skills

? JPAS Skills
? ISFD knowledge preferred
