Summary of Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in our data-driven projects, contributing to process optimization, data management, and client delivery in support of Elder Research's Commercial Business Unit.

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct process mapping and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Define and catalog data sets, ensuring data quality and accessibility.

  • Identify data users and their specific requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop net-new data products.

  • Lead initial issue response and root cause analysis for technical challenges.

Job Specifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Data Science).

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or related role.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Technical documentation experience for clear communication.

  • Proficiency in Jira management for efficient project tracking.

  • Strong client delivery and project management skills.

  • Expertise in data management best practices.

Desired Skills:

  • Programming experience with a language (e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation.

  • Familiarity with data science models and their applications.
