General Responsibilities:

Works as a consulting team member or an individual consultant on implementation, enhancement, integration, or support projects.

Operates under minimal supervision on medium to large size projects involving multiple products and/or platforms.

Works on medium to large-sized (sites/locations), single or multi-effort projects, usually with multiple computer environments where design is complex: Analyzes customers' business requirements and application objectives; develops an application design in products to meet customers' needs.

Estimates time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement project; develops project plan incorporating all project variables.

Sees that appropriate company resources are assigned to complete project tasks according to plan. Establishes criteria concerning deliverability, performance, maintenance, design and costs.

Conducts periodic status checks with customers and team to assess progress against plan. Performs re-forecasts of project variables as necessary throughout project.

Prepares weekly status reports on all project activities.

Acts as a liaison between customers and company. Coordinates project resources according to the plan.

Provides guidance to other consultants regarding medium to large-sized implementation and retainer projects.

Provides technical guidance to technical support staff. Design complexity may vary from fairly straight forward to moderately complex, with single or multiple products and involve multiple computer environments.

Able to serve effectively as liaison between company and customers.

Anticipating needs of Executive Staff and proactively addressing issues with an emphasis on sound judgment, initiative and confidentiality, with appropriate but minimal direction

Actively participate in meetings to capture and translate requirements

Tracking important milestones or actions for Executive staf

Manage or coordinate small projects, providing cost-effective approaches

Draft and edit PowerPoint presentations

Prioritize work by considering its risk, importance, urgency, and potential business, organizational, and client implications

Work independently in a teaming environment

Demonstrate discretion regarding workflow and priorities, in addition to in-depth knowledge of various executives? styles, methods of operation, and authorities.

Interact with clients, government officials and other executives in the private sector.

Working with customers to get information, assess needs, and support the resolution of issues and concerns

Demonstrates commitment to providing high quality customer service.

Demonstrates high level of discretion and is able to be trusted with confidential information

Verbal and written communications must be timely and demonstrate the consistent ability to presents ideas and communicate information in a clear and concise manner.

May perform other duties as assigned.

Drafting, writing and editing reports, briefs, correspondence and other documents

Mandatory Skills:

B.A./B.S. Degree or higher degree with strong collaboration skills

4-6 years working experience as a Military Officer in roles such as Aide-de-Camp or Executive Officer (XO)

Extensive experience with MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint

Strong written and oral communication skills, fast learner, detail oriented, strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task and respond to quick turn-around requests

Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in fast-paced work environment

Excellent attention to details and conscientious in adhering to deadlines and deliverables

An independent thinker who can bring the maturity, initiative, creativity, energy, discipline and commitment needed to support Executive level staff and collaborate with a diverse leadership team

A high-level performer with the ability to be proactive and respond rapidly to changing conditions in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrated ability to handle personal contacts with finesse and diplomacy.

Collect and analyze data and make recommendations

Must be responsive and adaptive to new information and/or events.

Strong oral and written communication skills;

Deal calmly and effectively with stress

Candidates must have strong MS Office applications skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Strong organizational skills are a must.

Personable, productive, organized and customer-focused with a ?can-do? attitude

This position requires the ability to maintain an excellent record of attendance/ punctuality

Must be responsive and adaptive to new information and/or events.

Location: on-site in Arlington, VA in a team environment with government and contractor employee
