ManTech is currently seeking an experienced Program Directorto support NASA Johnson Space Center, Office of Safety & Mission Assurance.
The Program Director oversees the coordination andadministration of all aspects of an ongoing program including planning,organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling program activities.
Provide strategic guidance to functional managers, staff andteams in ways that promote the company's culture. Oversee the progress ofoperations and develop efficient strategies and tactics.
Responsible for the performance of a significant programwith multiple task orders in accordance with contract requirements and companypolicies, procedures and guidelines. Oversees the technology development and/orapplication, marketing, and resource allocation within program client base.Program area typically represents more than three functional areas such asengineering, systems analysis, quality control and administration. Responsiblefor acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned programs and forsupporting new business development by leading proposals.
Responsible for managing and directing the SMA activitiesfor all Human Space Flight Programs and Projects assigned to the Johnson SpaceCenter (JSC) including the International Space Station (ISS), Multi-PurposeCrew Vehicle (MPCV) Orion, Advanced Exploration Systems (AES) Projects, theExtravehicular Activity (EVA) and other JSC flight projects. Included is theresponsibility for developing and implementing the capability to independentlyanalyze and assess the safety, reliability, maintainability, and qualityengineering and assurance of the design, development, test, manufacturing,certification, and operational phases of these Programs and Projects.
Responsible for the management and technical direction ofthe SMAEC II safety and mission assurance program. Provide independent riskassessment and analysis for flight science and research projects.
