The Director Organizational Effectiveness and Leadership (OEL) will provide critical, strategic leadership in supporting the deployment and maintenance of the Conagra Performance System (CPS - Conagra's Continuous Improvement Operation System) / high performance work culture across Conagra?s Supply Chain network. This role will partner directly with Supply Chain CPS leadership in consulting, designing, and coordinating the execution of organizational effectiveness and training initiatives, including change management activities, that instill a sustainable, systematic high-performance culture. This role will regularly collaborate with and leverage Supply Chain human resources (HR) generalists, the HR learning team, and third-party partners. Position will guide the transition from traditional work systems to a highly productive, Continuous Improvement organization.
Position Responsibilities:
Partner with the Vice President Supply Chain CPS and the Vice President HR Supply Chain, and their teams, in the development and deployment of an overall strategy for effectively integrating CPS / high performance work culture & teams throughout Conagra?s Supply Chain network;
Lead the diagnosis, assessment, design and deployment of organizational effectiveness and training initiatives to instill a sustainable, systematic high-performance culture and associated behaviors;
Lead the planning and coordinate the execution of change management efforts associated with the broader CPS deployment strategy;
Coach line structure team members and plant managers in Conagra?s CI principles;
Consult with individual plant and HR leadership in the development of master plans for each location to drive CPS expectations and behaviors into the local plant culture;
Determine optimal approaches for leveraging existing tools and processes, or designing new ones, that improve individual and team capabilities in transition from traditional work to Continuous Improvement systems;
Partner with the HR Learning team to serve as Subject Matter Expert on optimal approaches to adult learning/training and change management, and to design/develop supplemental tools and deployment strategies/mechanisms;
Establish, measure, and evaluate appropriate qualitative and quantitative metrics to assess progress and formulate recommendations of corrective actions;
Collaborate with Supply Chain HR partners and Supply Chain leaders on an ongoing basis to provide individual, program and/or organizational assessments and subsequent coaching to reach desired results and/or performance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree or higher in organization development, human resources, or supply chain-related disciplines and 15+ years of related work experience.
Experience integrating OD tools, systems, and processes into a cohesive, holistic, high impact change strategy that enables a highly productive CI organization.
Experience applying organizational development and change theory to business environment/practices, and gaining broad scale alignment and support for OD initiatives.
Minimum 10 years experience with manufacturing continuous improvement strategies such as TPM/TPS, LEAN, 6-Sigma and related. Includes experience in advanced phases of application.
Minimum 5 years experience coaching plant leadership teams from the floor through the plant leader.
Ability to assess behavior change at the individual, team, and organizational level.
Ability to think strategically and understand broader contexts across business units.
Ability to coach individuals and teams to meet developmental needs.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal communication.
Organizational and project management skills with attention to detail and delivery.

Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
