Position Overview:

As the Technical Writer, you will work closely with engineers to research, organize, write, edit, and produce Technical data for various simultaneous projects. You will ensure Technical documentation is accurate, complete, meets editorial/government specifications and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style.

The Technical Writer in this role supports Policy 1-61 Accommodation Buy Process compliance objectives with triaging, providing guidance and documentation enhancement to ready the Letter of Request for Acquisition Assistance(LOR) and Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) artifacts for submission. The triage tasking also includes various checks and vetting the drafts for export control (ITAR/EAR) omissions and proviso compliance concerns. The Technical Writer works with USG program managers, Technical leaders and other contractor system engineers to steer LOR/LOA artifacts and supporting documentation through the process to achieve the final approvals and signatures.

Required Skills:

Exceptional desire to support our nation?s most critical missions

Experience developing training documentation

6+ years of Technical Writing experience

Bachelor?s degree in a Technical discipline

o 4 years of relevant experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree

Must possess an active TS/SCI w/ polygraph clearance

**Must be willing to travel to OCONUS locations**
