Job Description:

SAIC is seeking an Outreach and Interchange Analyst to provide support on-site as part of contract team with the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Strategic Capabilities Office (OSD/SCO).

The candidate will:

Assist in the management and coordination of activities in support of technical and programmatic outreach, public affairs and interchange activities.

Support liaison and cooperative activities with Combatant Commands and their subcomponents and support the development of partnerships and relationships with DoD Components, the intelligence community, other Government Departments and Agencies, international partners, academia, and industry for SCO activities.

Identify candidate war-games and exercises that are appropriate and the insertion of technologies and technical and logistic support for participation in exercises and wargames.

Support the development of alternative options for Combatant Command?s operational plans via war- gaming or emulation events to determine which options are more effective to dissuade or prevent adversary military actions against U.S. forces.

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and two (2) years or more experience

Education and Experience:

A minimum of ten (10) years of recent and relevant policy, international, or public affairs support experience.

Bachelor?s degree from an accredited college or university in policy, communications or related subjects. Degree requirement waived in lieu of significant recent and relevant work experience: minimum of five (5) years? active duty military or minimum of five (5) years? experience.

Clearance Requirement:

Must currently possess a TOP SECRET security clearance and have the ability to obtain and maintain a SCI.

Required Skills:

Knowledge and understanding of the DoD and the Military Departments

Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and be independently motivated.

Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and/or other equivalent program management tools.

Desired Skills:

Top Security clearance with a DCID 6/4 eligibility within the last five (5) years.

Experience working with DoD, Joint Staff, the Military Departments, Service Program/Project Offices
