Job Summary

As part of Conagra Brands? digitalization and ecommerce strategy, the Sr Director of Digital Marketing/eCommerce will serve as the leader for the Global Business and Information Services (GBIS) organization focused on partnering with the Marketing organization to support their strategy by leveraging technology to drive consumer engagement through digital platforms, analyze data to find ideas for innovation and pockets of growth, and build out a direct to consumer (D2C) model. The role will own end-to-end delivery of technology in support of Martech, Adtech, eCommerce and Marketing Analytics as well as managing the relationship with third party providers. The role will be a direct report into the CIO and a member of the GBIS Leadership Team.
This leader will be a technologically savvy professional who can understand and partner with the data and analytics function coupled with a creative mindset to envision how to implement technology to support business strategy. As a strategic influencer, he/she will need a solid understanding of the organization?s strategy for ecommerce and digital enablement.
Position Responsibilities
Responsible for building out a function against a blank slate
Partner with Marketing and eCommerce leadership and the GBIS leadership team to provide strategic partnership and influence that drives technology and future state capabilities driving growth through digital engagement, insightful analytics identifying growth pockets and performance in market, and direct to consumer models
Keep up to date on Marketing, advertising, and eCommerce technology, evaluating those technologies, identifying the latest and greatest, and bringing components to life within the Marketing stack that will help enable ecommerce and digital Marketing processes building our brands and driving growth
Implement solutions using agile methodology with the best of DevOps
Partner with Marketing and GBIS teams to define and prioritize technology solutions that are appropriate and adequate to satisfy both tactical and strategic business needs including tapping into start-up networks and venture capital firms
Introduce and manage change across all levels of Marketing and GBIS ensuring the adoption and maximum benefit of solutions
Ensure strict adherence to all security processes and procedures especially around ecommerce and personally identifiable information (PII)
Manage strategic communications between the Marketing leads and the GBIS Leadership through reporting of portfolio oversight (operational, financial, transformational activities)
Position Qualifications
12+ years in Information Technology with 8+ years of management experience or relevant experience
Experience in digital Marketing, eCommerce and other digital processes and how they are used within a CPG company or relevant experience
Demonstrated leadership of digital analytics solutions across Martech and Adtech, data and reporting architecture and associated tools
Working knowledge of IT platforms, processes and business integration including external vendors and IT outsourcing
Experience with developing Marketing technology solutions for insights, analytics, digital and/or media activation
Experience with on premise and Cloud infrastructure or relevant experience
Working knowledge of security policies and procedures associated with ecommerce and digital
Working knowledge of Marketing Technologies in two or more of the following: Salesforce, Adobe, Acquia, IRI, Google analytics, or other Marketing technologies
Working knowledge of Marketing systems, digital advertising, measurement, CRM and personalization
Experience leading and developing a matrixed team to accomplish goals of organization
