The Software Engineer I evaluates user needs while designing and testing new software to meet those needs. This may involve analyzing and developing flow charts, models, diagrams and algorithms in addition to coding or modifying software. This individual will partner with a team of four (4) other Software Engineer's to support the users in our Distribution Centers across the US and participate in the development of enhancements to our applications when needed. This position researches and develops new technologies and processes/algorithms, and introduces them to the enterprise as needed to improve revenue and customer satisfaction.
This team ensures that the Distribution Centers remain operational 24/7/356 therefore rotational call is expected 1:5 weeks )a total of 10 times per year).
