YOUR TASKS
Service mechanics support the maintenance crews with all tasks that arise. They take on important support roles, such as towing aircraft, operating cranes and forklifts, and performing simple tasks on the aircraft.
Support in carrying out maintenance and repair tasks on aircraft and aircraft components
Assisting in troubleshooting and error correction
Towing and hangaring/de-hangaring of aircraft
Courier for tools and spare parts
Operating cranes for aircraft component changes
Operating forklifts
Transport of tooling and equipment
Ensuring cleanliness, safety, and order through vehicle, hangar, and hangar apron inspections
Assisting in the replacement of defective components
Supporting the testing of functionality, such as control and steering systems, landing gear, hydraulic systems, de-icing systems, turbine engines, braking systems, etc.
Performing service work on various systems
Documenting completed tasks
Participating in cross-departmental projects
Creating and maintaining documentation and upholding the reporting structure
Adhering to maintenance standards
Daily tool inspection and maintaining cleanliness at the workplace and in the EAT maintenance hangar
Supporting the handling of AOGs (Aircraft on Ground) domestically and internationally
Escort service for third parties
Maintaining all internal training required for carrying out all assigned tasks
Taking on all service and support tasks in maintenance
Performing cleaning tasks during ongoing operations
YOUR PROFILE
Completed technical vocational training
Willingness to obtain a towing license, crane operator license, and forklift license
Experience in aircraft maintenance is desirable
Proficiency with standard MS Office software
Good knowledge of English
Very good knowledge of German
High level of commitment and resilience
Careful and conscientious work approach
Willingness to work in shifts
