Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced Guidance, Navigation and Control engineer for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to work on algorithm development for a mature air defense missile system. Responsibilities include development, modification and implementation of ground system and fire control algorithms and analysis of lab, flight test and simulation data. Familiarity with Matlab, Fortran, C++ and UNIX is highly desired. An active Secret security clearance is required.
Experience with a high-level programming language such as Fortran or C++ Experience with performance simulations of missile systems
Experience with complex math
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
Must have a final secret clearance prior to start
Familiarity with MATLAB, Fortran, C++, and UNIX.
Familiarity with fire control sensors and algorithms.
Good communication skills
Ability to work well as part of a large team
