We are looking for a Security Specialist I in San Diego, California.


SUMMARY


Provide professional computer operator services to NIWC Pacific Security Support Services.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accurately processes incoming and out-going SCI visit request
  • Continuously update the SSO database with visit request and clearance information
  • Provide control and accountability of SCI material or documentation
  • Continued catalogue, inventory, and organization of classified documentation
  • Disposal of classified documentation
  • Assist in the preparation for SCI indoctrinations
  • Assist in fingerprinting in relation to background investigation paperwork
  • Provide physical security support through escort of contact personnel and access control of SSC Pac Code 87 SCIF
  • Process in-coming meeting requests while implementing physical security requirements and coordination of meetings held within SCIF spaces
  • Provided clearance verification through JPAS and other classified network systems
  • Create courier cards/one-time courier letters with appropriate paperwork
  • Process approximately 100 foreign travel requests from employee and contractor personnel
  • Process approximately 30 foreign travel contact forms received from employee and contractor personnel


Requirements:
  • 4-5 years of experience
  • Top Secret/SCI Clearance-Required
