Education Requirement: High School Graduate or Equivalant, Bachelors in Engineering or related field preferred
Experience Requirement: 5+ years of building construction experience. Previous leadership or supervisory experience. In depth working knowledge of construction trades. A deep understanding of estimating applications, preparation of proposals, project management, conceptual estimating, job cost accounting, and scheduling for commercial construction.
Special Skills: Expert in blueprint/plan reading and interpreting construction documents.
Travel Requirement: Frequent travel to project location, generally within 2 hour radius of York, PA.
Description
We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our Wagman Construction, Inc team. Reporting to the Director of Project Management, the Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects while managing client relationships and maintaining high-quality standards. The PM is the primary contact for the client and internal teams, confirming the overall success of the project lifecycle. The PM is accountable for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, in compliance with safety and quality standards, and meeting or exceeding the client’s expectations. This is a safety sensitive position requiring work on construction sites with various safety hazards inherent in construction.
