Ellsworth Corporation, a global, industry leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and adhesive manufacturer currently has a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist opportunity that reports onsite into our Glue Dots International (GDI) Division located in Germantown, WI.

You will esure that all operational processes are aligned with internal and external quality standards while also working closely with team members to improve product quality and performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads and supports customer and internal audits of the quality management system, including document review, interviewing company employees at all levels of the organization, corrective action assignment, follow-up and detailed report and corrective action writing
  • Work with all departments in assigned Business Unit(s) in the development and implementation of Standard operating procedures and other related forms to ensure compliance standards
  • Communicates directly with customers requiring assistance on completion of quality documentation
  • Inspects products (upon receipt, first production pieces, source and/or final) and reviews related documentation prior to shipment to customer
  • Conducts and coordinates quality training, including new hire orientation; implement new training programs cross-departmentally as required
  • Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement strategies
  • Leads, mentors, and supports the development of team members, ensuring high –quality work, adherence to best practices, and deadlines are met.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in a Quality or Engineering-related function
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college in Engineering or related field. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of quality control standards and procedures across various industries
  • Very strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • 8:00am - 5:00pm
