Walmart is hiring Landscape Technician Operators!  You will make an impact as a Landscape Technician by keeping landscapes attractive, clean, and well maintained. This includes moving lawns, pruning, and fertilizing shrubs, lawns, bushes, trees, and flowers. You must love working outdoors in different types of weather and enjoy physical labor.Â

Minimum Qualifications:Â Â Â
Minimum age of 21 yearsÂ
Valid state-issued driver's licenseÂ
Ability to read and communicate effectively in EnglishÂ
Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI convictions or reckless driving incidents involving alcohol or drugs within the last 3 yearsÂ
No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years if operating a commercial motor vehicleÂ
No serious traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years if operating a commercial motor vehicleÂ
Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certificationÂ
Job Duties:Â Â Â
Prepare and execute budgets, develop cost estimates, and approve purchases for projectsÂ
Manage internal scheduled projects, prioritize work assignments, and ensure timely completionÂ
Gather capital expenditures lists and develop scopes of work to update existing assetsÂ
Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelinesÂ
Control costs through price comparisons and warranty claimsÂ
Complete and submit required documentation and reportsÂ
Lead and evaluate the performance of third-party providersÂ
Troubleshoot and provide exceptional customer serviceÂ
Evaluate landscaping needs and implement sustainable upgradesÂ
Identify opportunities for improvement and cost savingsÂ

Adhere to the highest standards of safety, security, and integrity ensuring compliance with corporate policies as well as local, federal, and state requirementsÂ
Traveling may be necessary to perform one or more essential functions of this position.Â

Minimum QualificationsÂ
Be at least 21 years of ageÂ
Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) reportÂ
Successfully complete and pass a driver’s road test for the combination truck and trailer that will be operated within the scope of work.Â
Must be able to obtain appropriate licensing and/or endorsements for operating State if requiredÂ

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00-$35.00*?Â
*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.?Â
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.?Â
