Lockheed Martin is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a position in Goleta, CA at Santa Barbara Focalplane (SBF) which is the leader in digital focal plane array integrated circuit technology and rewards creativity and design innovation. This is a unique opportunity to join our small design team and help create the next generation of infrared imaging sensors.
SBF is seeking an engineering candidate with electronics design experience to help advance the state-of-the art in infrared and visible imager read-out integrated circuits (ROICs).
The selected candidate will assist with analog and digital level design as part of a design team creating advanced infrared cameras and imaging systems.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree program
Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance so must be a US Citizen.
Electronics design experience.
Desired skills
Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and layout experience
Digital and analog high speed design experience
Schematic capture and Spice simulation
Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and digital logic analyzers
Experience troubleshooting of complex mixed signal electronics boards
Silicon IC layout training or experience
PLL and serializer (SERDES)
Experience with Time Domain Reflectometer (TDR) equipment
VHDL or Verilog code development
Experience with Cadence Design System tools
Matlab programming skills
CMOS transistor level design experience
