This position is for a Senior Electrical Engineering position assigned to the F-22 program. The Senior Electrical engineer will utilize standard systems engineering practices to design F-22 a complex hardware and software subsystems. Responsibilities includes performing technical management of major subsystem suppliers, leading the development of requirements and processes pertaining to the Communication subsystem. The scope of activities may include leading requirements analysis, architecture and interface development, integration, support to formal test and delivery and participation in technical reviews and audits of products.
This position requires interaction, planning and coordination with multiple hardware and software development teams, aircraft engineering and data engineering/maintenance teams within the F22 program. Candidate will work with other senior engineers, systems engineers and project engineers to provide documents to convey customer and supplier(s) requirement relationships. Candidate will work heavily with supplier engineers to documents the Communication subsystem.
This position requires occasional travel.
Must be a US Citizen. This position will be located at a facility that requires special access (Must have current F-22 Project Clearances).
Demonstrated familiarity with Aircraft Avionics systems and/or the F-22 communication subsystem. Also, demonstrated experience with Subsystem and Systems Engineering processes to include requirements development and verification, communication subsystems architecture development.
Familiarity with Avionics systems, Vehicle systems and the systems supporting integration and test and debug.
Experience with the verification and sell off of a subsystem to a customer through formal test events.
Experience developing subsystem design/engineering documentation.
Experience with Agile Software Development and/or SCRUM processes.
Ability to work with suppliers to set and meet contractual requirements
