This dynamic computer systems architect position is located within the historic Skunk Works facility in Palmdale, California. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of networking protocols, cyber-security and hardware/software integration as well as being able to understand business processes. He/she will develop system architecture, provide technical guidance and ensure technical implementation across multiple programs.

The selected candidate will be responsible for interfacing with various disciplines including software development teams, Systems Engineering, System Integration, and Test engineering. May also interface with the Chief Architect or Chief Engineer as needed.

Candidate must have experience in developing effective communications and presentations to both technical and leadership teams.

Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG) will be a major asset.

Must be a US citizen. This position requires a Top Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications
Experience in Systems Design and Engineering
Bachelor's degree in cyber security, engineering or technical discipline (i.e. computer science, system engineering or electrical engineering)
DoD Cyber Security Systems Engineering experience

Desired skills
Ability to work through complex problems successfully
Work across multi-disciplined teams
Ability to present to customers, leadership and train engineers in cyber security issues
Experience in writing Statements of Work
C++, Python and Java programming
Requirements decomposition and traceability
