Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Security Specialist Adjudicator to join our team in the Springfield, VA area to provide unparalleled support to our internal organization and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assimilate, evaluate and interpret all-source information that concerns the recommendation of eligibility determinations for access to TS/SCI to mitigate and minimize the risk to NGA personnel, programs, technology and information systems and/or facilities and the National System for GEOINT (NSG).
? Provide all research support to recommend an eligibility determination in a manner that allows for compliance to (Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act) IRTPA mandates for adjudicative actions for both T5 and T5-R investigations.
? Accurately apply the Department of Defense (DoD) and DNI mandated adjudicative guidelines (DoD 5200.2-R and ICPG 704.2).
? Accurately document, support and maintain all actions within NGA?s system of record for personnel security files (PeopleSoft Adjudication Modules and the electronic Personnel Security File [e-PSF]).
? Liaise with members of the SIC, SII, HD, OGC, and other NGA entities to keep abreast of current SISP actions, as a particular case requires.
? Conduct internal liaison with NGA components to ensure a ready exchange of SISP information to and between the appropriate parties identified by the Team Lead.
? Alert the Government Team Lead to any imminent threats and recommend countermeasures.
? Prepare briefs, as required, related to any or all of the above subject matter for delivery to internal and external audiences at the executive level.
? Provide research and analysis to support open adjudicative cases.
? Establish relationships with NGA?s subject matter experts needed to support adjudicative operations.
? Conduct interviews of NGA personnel and prepare accurate reports and summaries from those interviews.
? Provide advice and expertise in support of personnel security and the security clearance adjudication process pursuant to Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 704 requirements.
? Protect personally identifiable information (PII) and appropriately resolve inadvertent spills of sensitive information, per policy requirements.

Position Requirements:

? Bachelor?s degree and 7-10 years of experience or equivalent experience within related field.
? Minimum 1 year of previous Background Investigator, Personnel Security Specialist, or TS/SCI adjudicative experience, adjudicator training.
? Knowledge of or experience with PeopleSoft.
? Experience researching and providing recommendation on eligibility determination for adjudicative actions for T5 and T5-R investigations.
? Knowledge and experience complying with the Department of Defense (DoD) and DNI mandated adjudicative guidelines (DoD 5200.2-R and ICPG 704.2).
? Advanced PowerPoint skills and ability to prepare presentations with minimal guidance and direction relating to adjudication and personnel security matters.
? Proficiency with MS Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
? Proactive customer service skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
? Proven communication skills ? verbal, written and listening.
? Excellent attention to detail skills.
? Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
? Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint.
? Able to work effectively with minimal direction and in a team environment.
? Desired: NGA experience as a Security Specialist.

Security Requirements:

An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
