At IT Services, we are passionate about software development. Our Store Solution team is continuously expanding. We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer with focus on automated cloud service testing. You can always grow within our diverse environment.

To enable the DHL retail stores to provide postal services and sell products we create and maintain different software products ranging from stationary cashbox system to mobile solutions. As our work has a direct impact to the end-customer experience in DHL retail stores the high quality of our products means everything for us.

Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for:

We are planning to transition the current backend for the DHL retail store environment from a hardware-based system to a cloud-based solution. This new system will be developed within a Microsoft Azure Cloud environment, utilizing AKS, SQL Server, and various other Azure services.

To meet this challenge, we are looking to strengthen our team with new members. As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, a strong background in automated testing is essential, and experience with Cucumber/Gherkin will be a key aspect of this role.

Your typical day would involve:

• Designing automated tests to ensure high test coverage and low maintenance.
• Implementing automated tests using Cucumber/Gherkin (with over 3 years of experience in practical applications)
• Integrating automated tests into build and release pipelines
• Documenting test cases
• Analyzing test results with a solid understanding of both technology and business processes
• Conducting Chaos Engineering sessions

As a Microsoft Azure Cloud enthusiast, you possess a good understanding of cloud-based software testing. You should be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and organize your workload effectively under pressure. While understanding German will be beneficial due to the presence of technical terms that may not translate well, it is not a mandatory requirement.

• Strong knowledge of testing with Cucumber / Gherkin (more than 3 years experience in real-life applications)
• Experience in Chaos Engineering
• Efficient documentation skills
• Responsibility for the Team output / results
• Other Skills: Knowledge in Selenium
