EMEA Trade Compliance & Dangerous Goods Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive EMEA Trade Compliance & Dangerous Goods Manager to lead our compliance team. In this role, you will ensure adherence to international regulations, manage relationships with logistics service providers (LSPs), and foster a culture of compliance within our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the EMEA Dangerous Goods & Trade Compliance team, ensuring timely delivery of goals and promoting a collaborative work environment.
Oversee compliance with country-specific import/export regulations, providing guidance and support to LSPs.
Handle escalations efficiently and communicate promptly with stakeholders.
Maintain a comprehensive repository of regulatory requirements and ensure all team members are informed of updates.
Manage dangerous goods audits and provide solutions to compliance issues.
Support client projects, monitor processes for improvements, and drive implementation.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in international supply chain management, preferably in a 4PL environment.
Proven experience in supplier management
At least 2 years of people management experience.
Strong knowledge of customs regulations, dangerous goods transport regulations, and compliance documentation.
IATA DGR, ADR, or IMDG certification preferred.
Project management experience is an advantage.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong leadership and communication skills.
