Job Purpose
Administer Starbroker AFR activities as part of the AFR product and capacity management plans to support the commercial plans in line with business; objectives, corporate guidelines and policies
Key Tasks
• Support the execution of plans and processes to implement the Starbroker product and capacity management strategy
• Ensure that gateway billing is completed accurately and on time
• Enter and review cost accruals in system
• Monitor the consol profitability based on P/L reason codes
• Escalate deviations to PCM / Management for further checks / review
• Identify actions to improve consol planning / EQ status
• Maintain G-rates setup in system
• Maintain special G-Rates in the system and monitor profitability
• Support the timely monitoring and accurate updating of products
• Maintain databases with specific information to enable quick responses to specific queries
• Answer queries, prepare information for customers to maintain close business relationship with existing clients and enhance customer retention
• Consolidate, record information and handle day-to-day shipment documentation
• Understand recent developments of new solutions, services, lane and traffic development
• May provide functional guidance, advice or training to less experienced positions
• Resolve recurring issues, and suggest modifications to Starbroker product and capacity management methods focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency
