Support the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Weapon System Engineering, Integration, and Test (WSEIT), Systems Test (WST) group with the electronic designs for the Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) used for testing the THAAD. The candidate will work in a team environment supporting experienced engineers and will be a key contributor to system level design reviews (System Requirements, Preliminary Design and Critical Design). Tasks may include: (1) Research, design, develop, test and maintain electronic assemblies and systems from concept definition through production. (2) Design analog and digital electronic circuits, circuit cards, assemblies and interface cabling for custom applications. (3) Specify, coordinate and review both COTS and vendor generated electronic system development products and data packages, conduct product evaluations and make source selection decisions. (4) Support electrical/electronic system troubleshooting exercises to include causal analysis and corrective action implementation. (5) Conduct technical interchange with vendors, sub-contractors and customers. (6) Liaison to Software, Systems, Manufacturing and Test Engineering during all phases of product development. (7) Conduct electronic trade studies of operational systems and recommend design solutions. (8) Specify the design and fabrication of test control apparatuses and interface equipment for use in component level design verification, product acceptance, ESS and Qualification testing. (9) May direct field operations and maintenance of electronic installations.

This position is contingent on contract award; expected March 2018

*Ability to obtain SECRET Clearance required for this role.

Basic Qualifications
* Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering other related program degree from an accredited college/university.

* Experience with Microsoft Office suite (word, powerpoint, excel).

Desired skills
* Zuken or CREO design tool use is highly desirable.

* Electronic design/development experience.

* Testing support experience.

* Oversight with product through development and production phase.

* Experience in military electronic equipment design.
