HVAC Service and Installation Technician

This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to read and interpret schematics, ensuring the efficient operation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems.

Duties:
Install HVAC/R systems according to specifications and industry standards.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine system layouts.
Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations.
Maintain and service existing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical components.
Troubleshoot issues with refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration setups.
Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete projects efficiently.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on job sites.

Experience Preferred:
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC/R systems.
Familiarity with refrigerate systems and their components.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience as a service technician is a plus.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED, Completion of a HVAC training program, Apprenticeship, State licensure, and Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
