Project Manager - Content Strategy & Campaign Management

Overview

As a Project Manager of Content Strategy & Campaign Management, you'll lead cross-functional initiatives connecting content development with campaign execution while coordinating dependent business teams. This role requires excellent communication skills, campaign management expertise, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships to deliver cohesive, high-impact content strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive content project plans, timelines, and resource allocations across cross-functional teams

• Orchestrate campaign workflows between content creators, designers, subject matter experts, and distribution channels

• Lead regular stakeholder meetings to align priorities and maintain project momentum

• Identify and proactively address potential roadblocks through risk assessment and mitigation planning

• Create and maintain documentation for content workflows, approval processes, and campaign performance metrics

• Manage resource allocation and budget requirements for content initiatives

• Implement and refine project management methodologies tailored to content development cycles

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in content marketing or campaign management

• Proven track record of successfully managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple dependencies

• Strong understanding of content development processes and marketing campaign structures

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for managing stakeholder expectations

• Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies

• Experience facilitating productive meetings and driving consensus across diverse teams

• Ability to translate business objectives into actionable content plans

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or other project management certification

• Experience with agile project management methodologies

• Background in digital marketing, content strategy, or related field

• Familiarity with content management systems and marketing automation platforms

• History of implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency and quality

Minimum Qualifications...
