We are looking to fill a full-time, permanent position in the EMEA region, with the opportunity to be based in Prague or Ostrava (Czech Republic) or Budapest (Hungary).

Job Purpose:

Support the development, execution, and management of procurement plans and processes, focused on obtaining goods and services with an emphasis on risk management and security. This role includes sourcing products and services, selecting suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms, processing orders, administering contracts, and managing supplier relationships to ensure high-quality, efficient, and secure procurement operations.

Your tasks:

• Manage and build strong relationships with suppliers at global, regional, and local levels, focusing on (cyber) security, risk management, and resilience.
• Collaborate in sourcing of goods and services in order to reduce risks and costs and ensure quality and supply at DHL Group preferred conditions in areas such as e.g. Security Equipment and Services, Production Systems.
• Support the development and execution of procurement processes that deliver maximum value, efficiency, and satisfaction for both DHL Group and our business partners.
• Drive improvements in our supplier relationships and procurement processes to strengthen DHL Group's position in the market.
• Identify sourcing opportunities, develop strategies, and create plans to obtain the best products and services based on existing category strategies.
• Oversee key procurement activities, including selecting suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, processing orders, managing contracts, and monitoring supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with standards and effectively communicate security equipment guidelines and best practices to stakeholders.

Your profile:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Procurement or a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) and proficiency in Hungarian or Czech is preferred.
• Familiarity with procurement technologies, risk management, and strategic sourcing methodologies is an advantage.
