We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale migration projects from on-premise solutions to cloud platforms. This role requires exceptional communication skills to engage with stakeholders and users effectively as well as technical knowledge to manage all streams. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager will contribute to the Platform Engineering subdomain, focusing on new market products, exploring innovative solutions, and implementing those that align with our strategic goals.

As a project lead, you will manage large-scale migration projects from on-premise to cloud solutions.

You will develop and execute detailed project plans with clear timelines and budgets, ensuring each project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Effective communication will be central to your approach, as you update stakeholders on project status, address risks, and handle any issues that arise.

By closely collaborating with end-users, you will gather detailed requirements, provide ongoing updates, and resolve concerns to ensure their satisfaction and encourage seamless adoption of new cloud solutions. Your support will extend through training sessions and hands-on assistance during and after the migration.

In addition to migration efforts, you will actively explore new market products and technologies, recommending innovative solutions that align with business goals. You will lead the implementation of selected products, focusing on seamless integration and user adoption.

Within your project teams, you will foster an inclusive and collaborative atmosphere, ensuring clear communication and coordination. You will also contribute to product road mapping by working on requirements and prioritizing project features. Throughout the project lifecycle, you will liaise with IT technical teams, product owners, and business users, delivering updates and comprehensively tracking project progress.

Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for:   

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years in project management, with experience in the digitalization industry being a plus
• Proven experience in leading large-scale migration projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a specialist-based, high-performing and multicultural teams.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms and migration strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and users.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
• Team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient customer relationship and negotiation skills
• High intercultural experience (working across teams globally)
• A team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent English language (both written and spoken) and intermediate-level German is an advantage.
