1. Job Purposes:
  • Manage and drive performance of Field Sales channel in a country
  • Develop plan and targets for Field Sales channel based on country targets
  • Ensure achievement of Field Sales target
  • Steer and improve Sales performance through effective processes
  • Plan and manage the portfolio of multi-sector Business Customers
  • Win, retain and develop multi-sector Business Customers
  • Plan and manage multi-sector Business Customers
  • Gather customer and market information to update Product and Trade Lane on current conditions

2. Main Accountabilities:
  • Hunt new Business Customers (multi-sector) and grow locally controlled account portfolio
  • Maintain existing account portfolio and increase volume of portfolio
  • Achieve individual yearly financial and business growth target
  • Define strategic actions with Head of Sales, implement and monitor results
  • Drive implementation of effective Sales tools and processes in the country
  • Drives performance improvement of country BC segment by supporting target achievement for country-Field Sales
  • Plan and manage portfolio of multi-sector Business Customers
  • Invest in critical relationships between multi-sector Business Customers and the rest of DHL Global Forwarding organization

3. People Management:
  • Develop a sales hunting culture with consistent business target achievement, flexibility and profitability and Return On Investment consciousness
  • Develop a team spirit and multitasking capabilities within the team
  • Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department

4/ Requirement:
  • Prefer proven experience in Air Freight Products
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Sales, Business Development and Logistics
  • Deep knowledge of the Air Freight, Ocean Freight and Forwarding Industry
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant topic
  • Deep knowledge of forwarding business and understanding of Product offering
  • Strategic thinking skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English verbal/written communication
