POSITION: Contract Performance Manager
LOCATION: Beaumont, TX
STATUS: Salary Exempt
JOB SUMMARY
This role will be supporting a major natural gas customer in the Beaumont/Port Arthur Texas area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:
Act as the “single point” liaison between company and contractor and works with company to ensure smooth execution of the contract agreement to maximize mutual benefits and identify continuous improvement and lessons learned.
Establish, manage, and lead the outage process.
Serve as a role model applying the safety nest practices. Act as a Safety Observer for company and ensure a Safety Observer is following any maintenance activities by contractor or their agents.
Liaise with Company to review asset performance KPIs, status of and delivery of goods and services in the Scope of Work, and Site Resident Team status.
Work with the Contract Parts inventory and manufacturing personnel (located at factories throughout the world) to expedite parts and materials, as required, to facilitate the success of each Planned Maintenance event.
Maintain parts tracking database on Contract Parts and select parts.
Communicate and coordinate with company regarding warehouse stock of parts, delivery and shipment of parts.
Provide final review of parts inventory prior to Planned Maintenance Outages to verify that all planned Contract Parts are on site.
Possess and maintain comprehensive understanding of Maintenance Work requirements.
Initiate and resolve product warranty claims to the best interest of all parties involved.
Initiate, update status and verify completion of Covered Equipment specific product change modifications regarding plant concerns.
Provide and/or facilitate technical support, assistance, and evaluation when operating or maintenance problems occur. Assist in areas of technical concerns and help facilitate resolution.
Communicate to company (and other parties as required) technical bulletin updates promptly as such are published.
Deliver to company and company’s representative Outage reports as per contract terms.
Provide to company and company’s representative, the monthly Operational Assessment Reports (OARs).
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education & Training
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
Hold a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from PMI (Project Management Institute) or equivalent, or equivalent experience
Must complete EHS assigned regulatory training for work area as described by PSM’s EHS Training Matrix
Skills/Experience
5+ years of relevant industry experience
3+ years of experience in a similar project management role
Experience managing multiple technical projects or programs meeting all key metrics.
Experience developing and executing project plans according to safety, quality, cost, and delivery specifications (on-time and on budget).
Experience solving technical or organizational problems on cross-functional teams, with advanced skills in communications and documentation.
Experience persuading and presenting technical topics to peers, higher management, and company.
2+ years of experience as a team leader to indirect reports, with successful track record of identifying and promoting team members and harnessing and developing individual talents. Anticipates and delivers future skill and experience requirements of the team and delivers these needs.
Experience dealing with administering and managing compliance with contract and commercial topics and engagements.
