Reports to: Associate Director, Graduate Enrollment Operations

Department: Graduate Enrollment Management

Basic Function:

The Assistant Director, Graduate Enrollment Operations supports the day-to-day processes and systems that facilitate graduate admissions at Clark University. This position assists with application workflows, enrollment systems, and process improvements. Candidates should have experience working with Student Information Systems (SIS), with preference for those familiar with Slate and Banner.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Serve as architect and manager for all non-evaluation admission workflows.
  • Create application forms for external partner organizations, and liaise with those partners on application submission and evaluation timeline.
  • Collaborate with graduate enrollment division to assist with report building and data acquisition.
  • Develop communications and messaging to support the admissions process.
  • Contribute to maintaining a knowledge repository in Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Provide support for on-campus and online recruitment and admitted student events through managing system-related aspects.
  • Support application processing and document uploads during admission busy periods.
  • Assist with other graduate admission processes within Slate CRM and Ellucian Banner as needed.


Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience working with Student Information Systems (SIS), such as Slate or Banner.
  • Comfort with learning and using technology to support and improve processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Prior experience contributing to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
