Assist to meet performance targets · Together with warehouse manager participate in problem solving and trouble shoot process improvement process Vender (warehouse provider, suppliers)· Ensure hand over processes of inbound stock and paperwork are normally operated Area Operations staff at all levels · Daily working process review, discussion ·Ensure inbound stock are recovered, “break bulked”, inspected and receive in the quickest, most efficient manner possible. · Ensure accurate sorting and optimum loading of all inbound shipments. · Monitor ground handler and warehouse provider performance and complete all necessary reports. Adherence to customer’s SOP · Ensure that the SOPs are being followed and adhered to by warehouse. · Ensure SLA are met and actions to be taken to ensure all KPIs are met as agreed Safely and Quality Assurance · Ensure safe working practices and environment within the shift. · Participate in DESC quality policy and initiatives e.g. ISO accreditation.
