The Director of Creative Services is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the development of compelling, high-impact pre-sales marketing and sales enablement materials that support both Local Sales and Corporate Sales efforts. This person will manage a team of 6-7, including 3 Art Director/Senior Designers, and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Brand Strategy, Insights and Creative teams to ensure that all visual assets align with the company’s strategic goals.
The ideal candidate is a creative leader with a strong design background, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to transform complex information into engaging, persuasive visuals. They should have experience managing a creative team in a fast-paced environment and be adept at balancing hands-on creative direction with strategic oversight.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Art Directors, Senior Designers, and Designers to produce top-tier creative work that supports sales and marketing goals.
Set the creative vision for pre-sales materials, ensuring consistency, innovation, and brand alignment across all deliverables.
Work closely with the Brand Strategy, Sales, and Insights teams to develop compelling pitch materials, presentations, and sales collateral that help drive revenue.
Act as the primary creative stakeholder for sales enablement assets, ensuring materials are visually engaging, informative, and persuasive.
Oversee the production of key sales enablement assets, including:
Pitch decks & PowerPoint presentations
Mock-ups & multi-page layouts
Infographics & visual storytelling elements
Sales one-sheets, overview materials, and placemats
Internal-facing materials supporting business development
Provide creative direction and feedback on designs, ensuring a high level of polish and professionalism.
Establish templates and style guides for commonly used sales materials to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Stay ahead of design trends, sales enablement best practices, and industry innovations to continuously elevate creative output.
Partner with Sales and Brand Strategy leadership to understand strategic priorities and translate them into visual narratives that support revenue growth.
Work closely with the Valuation and Insights teams to present complex data and analytics in a visually compelling way.
Coordinate with external vendors, freelancers, and agencies when necessary to support project workload.
Advocate for the creative team’s role in driving sales impact within the organization.
Lead weekly creative reviews and brainstorming sessions to encourage innovation and collaboration.
Implement and refine project management processes to optimize workflow efficiency, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
Oversee resource allocation and team workload, ensuring a balanced distribution of projects among designers.
Monitor KPIs and effectiveness of sales materials, iterating on creative approaches based on performance data and feedback.
8+ years of experience in creative direction, graphic design, or brand marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership/management role.
Expertise in designing sales enablement and marketing collateral (e.g., sales decks, one-sheets, infographics, templates).
Strong background in visual storytelling, layout design, and brand identity development.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and presentation tools (PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides).
Experience managing a multi-person creative team, including mentoring and performance management.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and strategy to stakeholders.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in media, entertainment, or B2B sales support environments.
Familiarity with data visualization and storytelling techniques for sales and marketing.
Knowledge of motion graphics or interactive design is a plus.
Experience working with cross-functional teams to align creative strategy with business goals.
