How This Position Contributes to the Team
The Water Environment Federation (WEF) is a not-for-profit technical and educational organization of more than 30,000 individual members and 75 affiliated Member Associations (MAs) representing water quality professionals around the world. Since 1928, WEF and its members have protected public health and the environment. WEF and its global network of members and member associations provide water quality professionals around the world with the latest in water quality education, training, and business opportunities. WEF’s diverse membership includes scientists, engineers, regulators, academics, utility managers, plant operators, and other professionals. WEF leverages this collective knowledge to drive progress toward a life free of water challenges.

Utilities have limited incentives to recover resources without a market demand for them. Companies are unlikely to invest in water-efficient technologies without demonstrated cost savings. To help catalyze new investments in the circular water economy, WEF seeks to use its role as a leading voice in the water sector to support financing, market development, and multi-stakeholder collaboration.
The Manager, Circular Water Economy will work closely with the team to advance the principles of the circular water economy and solidify WEF’s position as the leading organization in this space. The manager will drive key initiatives that promote the circular water economy, fostering collaboration and innovation across stakeholders. By championing WEF’s strategic goals, the manager will ensure the organization remains the go-to resource for advancing circular water economy practices. These goals include:
