Vibram Tech Rep (1099 Contractor) – Pacific Northwest - Military veterans preferred

Are you passionate about footwear, community, and creating unforgettable brand experiences? Vibram is looking for a Tech Rep to lead regional retail training, grassroots marketing, and community events across the Pacific Northwest.

This is a 1099 contractor role based out of the Vibram Connection Lab in Portland—our hub for innovation, design, and community connection.

$26-31/hr

Retail Training & Support

• Conduct product training for retail staff and partners
• Host in-store activations and product knowledge sessions
• Support merchandising and retail event strategies
• Report on regional market trends and opportunities

Community & Event Marketing

• Plan and lead events at the Portland Connection Lab and onsite at various locations around Portland and the Pacific Northwest
• Coordinate local partnerships and collaborate with creatives, startups, and industry pros
• Manage logistics, setup, and promotion of community activations

Brand Communication

• Promote events across social media, email, and print
• Act as a local voice and brand advocate
• Foster loyalty and education around Vibram's products

• Minimum 2–3 years in retail, marketing, or event management
• Ability to travel throughout Pacific Northwest
• Experience with public speaking and training
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Self-starter with a passion for lifestyle branding
• Outdoors industry experience preferred
• Knowledge of the footwear/fashion industry preferred
