Description:

Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is seeking a Collections Manager to oversee daily operations and activities of a collections team in the Asset Protection (Collection) Department. The successful candidate must demonstrate professionalism, possess problem solving skills, and be an engaged leader of people. This position will be stationed at 4601 Theater Drive, Evansville, IN. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate all aspects of the Asset Protection Department operations and supervise the daily routines of a collections team.
    1. Perform annual employee reviews
    2. Monitor staffing and hold regular staff meetings, employee development and engagement
    3. Monitor employee performance, including key performance indicators – daily, weekly, monthly
    4. Oversee repossession placements
    5. Management of vendors for the collections platform, texting, and automated dialer
  • Assist the Asset Protection Vice President in efforts to meet department and credit union strategic goals.
    1. Delinquency ratios for active and recovery accounts
    2. Reporting and inventory reconciliations
    3. Perform quality control audits
    4. Plan and direct departmental operations to successfully meet goals

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • B.S. degree in Management preferred but equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in supervising or management.
  • Collections or Contact Center management experience preferred.
