Seeking a professional and highly motivated Part-time Wordpress Developer to join our team and support federal, state, and local healthcare and human services projects. 



Responsibilities

  • Convert design files into responsive WordPress themes.
  • Update existing WordPress sites and implement custom code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP) for unique features and functionality.
  • Optimize websites for SEO, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Build and optimize custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
  • Perform requirement analysis to identify the data and software requirements and corresponding required level of effort.
  • Ensure website security best practices, including SSL, firewalls, and malware protection.
  • Collaborate with designers and project managers to create high-quality, user-friendly websites
  • Maintain and enhance website UI/UX based on company standards and feedback


Qualifications



Extensive experience in WordPress development

Ability to develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch

Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Full understanding of responsive web design, fluid layouts and positioning, browser behavior and compatibility, cross-browser issues and solutions

Ability to code for Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Understanding of W3C Web Standards/Semantics and Accessibility Guidelines.

Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color, and layout.

SALARY

Salary is determined commensurate with experience of the candidate. Benefits include health insurance, holidays, and vacation benefits for all full-time employees of 30 or more hours. The salary range for this position is $50 to $75 per hour. While we provide competitive compensation, it's important to note that for new hires, salaries typically align with the lower end of the range, taking into account factors such as experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
